We are really pleased to announce that we have worked on a website for the brand new company Honeybells.co.uk. Honeybells is a brand new business in the Bell Tent Hire business. With their unique feature being that unlike all the other tent hire businesses out there offering standard tents for hire, they offer the very special and characterful Bell Tents.

We were asked by Ross to work our magic on a one page wonder website, that could have the option of being expanded in the future. We feel we have given Ross and his business partner Sam a website which is perfect for their first summer and it is the perfect platform for further growth as and when they need it.

With the early success of the one page wonder website that we created Tom over at Window Tinting Dorset, we were approached by a contact of Tom’s looking for a one page website for their Security Window Film website. They wanted us to try and rank their website in as high a position as possible so that they can capture anyone looking to sure up their houses in the most venerable area.

What was interesting, is that apparently their largest market is commercial, and when we thought about it, we could see why - a simple transparent film placed over the window, will mean it will not shatter if someone tries to break into the premises. This could potentially save the business owner thousands of pounds in one foiled burglary attempt. In addition to this, the security film will also act as a safety film, so that if someone trip and sells, then they will not be able to put a hand through the glass.

After reading on our website that we have been running some test on ranking one page websites, Tom from Window Tinting Dorset contacted us, and asked if he could get in on the act. The reason for this was simple, he had been buying some domain names for niche areas for his business, and thought a simple one page SEO website, could give him some traction in these niche areas at a low price.

We have now just completed his first one page website: Boat Window Tinting. Tom hopes that by having a great domain name and a highly targeted SEO friendly website, he will be able to tap into this growing niche. Tom also mentioned that the single one page website idea will help him analyse how big the niche is. By studying his web analytics, he can see if the niche is big enough to warrant a larger site focused on this area of his business.

We caught up with Tom, and asked him exactly why he is taking the punt on one of our one page websites: “All in all, the single one page website is a no brainer for me, not only does it take a dormant domain name that I have and make it work for me, it also let’s me enter a niche market that could potentially have a lasting impact on my business. Great idea Lazypages - I look forward to seeing the results.” Tom Fearon CEO Solar Shades

Some of our readers maybe familiar with a test which we carried out in November, [...]

Some of our readers maybe familiar with a test which we carried out in November, where we tried to rank a one page website as high in Google as possible, with only one back link and following a number of on-page SEO principles.

The great news was that the website went onto page one on Google for it’s chosen keyword “Rock and Roll Bed”, however a couple of weeks ago, we added some products, from eBay and from Vanworx. However, we have noticed that once we added these products the site has now dropped from the Google results. We are thinking this has to be to do with the eBay links as it is documented that Google does not like to see the eBay “Rover” link on small one page websites. As a result, we have removed these from being on the onpage. We will now see if this has a positive impact on the rankings. We will report back.

After a positive experience with the “Rock and Roll Bed” website, we decided to try a second website, to see if we could build an even better one page website. We have had the domain name “surfboardbag.co.uk” for a while now, and thought it was an ideal candidate to experiment on. The term Surfboard Bag has a high monthly search volume and we believe that with our on-page SEO skills we can rank on the first page within a short amount of time, and we can also get that number one position.

Surfboard bags are a must-have for any surfer, and as such, the domain name could proove to be a popular niche. Although we are not surfers ourselves, we believe that if we can rank it highly on Google, then the domain and site will have a value to a company in this sector. Whether we sell it, or just keep it and be an affiliate on it, we will wait and see. As long as there are surfboards, there will be a demand for a <stong>surfboard bag. We are really excited to see how this website does. We will report back soon!

Today we launched a small test website to see if we could rank on page one with only a one page website for our chosen key terms.

The website in question is all about the popular Rock And Roll Bed. Rock and Roll Beds are the type of bed/seating system that is found in the back on VW Camper vans, and are proving to be extremely popular at the moment. We are aiming to get out Rock and Roll Bed website ranking in Google and on page one within one month. As you can see if you head over to our Rock And Roll Beds website, you will notice, it is a very simple site, that tries to follow a few basic rules of Search Engine Optimisation.

We will report back on how well it performs.

We are really pleased to announce that our new voucher code website has now been launched. Christmas Voucher Codes is aiming to be the number one destination for savvy shoppers this festive season. The site will be growing and evolving over the coming few weeks, however we are really please with the stage it is currently at.

Paul @ SuedeApple, has done the hard core coding for the website, and he has done a phenomenal job. He has built a system which uses the iCodes Voucher Code database, and has used asp.net 3.5, iis7, extenionless urls, and a splash of illustrator festiveness. This all adds up to a site which looks great, and functions superbly. Paul has shown time and again why he is the number one Northwest ASP.NET Developer.

In addition to Paul, a huge thanks should go out to Leee @ iCodes, who has developed an amazing voucher code database which powers the whole Christmas Voucher Code website, feeding only valid voucher codes and offers. With iCodes, Lee has developed a great solution for affiliates who want to step into the voucher code arena, without having to worry about the commitment of continually updating and adding voucher codes. We would strongly recommend the voucher code website solution that has been developed by iCodes.

As always, if you have any questions or comments about any of out websites, please feel free to get in touch.

We are really pleased to have launched today the new Vanworx Online Store. The store will be a great resource for Volkswagen Transporter Camper Conversion lovers, and we hope that it will become the premier Volkswagen Transporter Shop.

We have built the shop using Magento, and have been really pleased with the end result. Admittedly, this is only version 1 of the online store, or a Beta if you will, but over the coming weeks and months we hope to make some great changes which will improve and build on the new infrastructure.

If you have a Volkswagen Transporter, and are looking for a Volkswagen Transporter Styling Shop then we recommend Vanworx.

I approached Lazypages in January 2009 when I need assistance in PPC for my business. Alasdair helped me through the process of setting up a Google Pay Per Click Campaign.

I was initially concerned that there was a danger that the campaign would be set up in such a way where large amounts of money would be spent and the ROI would be low. however I should not have been concerned, because Al created an amazing PPC campaign for me, which is highly targeted for my business and my geographical area, and the Cost Per Lead has been incredible! I honestly can’t believe how much business the PPC Campaign has generated at a very low cost.

The monthly subscription is definitely worth it due to the added value to my business through increased high quality leads. They are always on call and promptly get back to me with regards to any queries I have. I have recommended the service to a number of other business’ who are in the process of seeing increased returns.

Solar-Shades.eu website has now been moved over to the new domain name of WindowTintingDorset.com.

We have just taken the Solar-Shades.eu website and moved it to the new domain name of WindowTintingDorset.com. We have moved the website from the original domain name to WindowTintingDorset, as we believe that the chances of SEO success will be greatly increased. We have used 301 redirect’s to ensure that Google will understand that the website has permanently moved to a new domain name.

Solar-shades.eu is a website which we built at the beginning of the year, it has performed well in it’s short lifespan, however we believe that the combination of a poor domain name, and the weak .eu domain extension was greatly hampering their chances of high competive rankings. We will be keeping a close eye on the performance on Window Tinting Dorset and will report back on how performance improves. We hope Window Tinting Dorset Chips Away at it’s competitors and secures high SEO rankings!

nb. we have made slight alterations to the page URL’s - this is something that again has been made for SEO purposes.

Since launching the new Vanworx website, we have been super pleased with how well the new site is performing in the Search Engine Result pages. Not only is google indexing new content within ten minutes of it being live, it is also showing the Vanworx website for some of the most competitive terms in their industry.

Vanworx take VW transporter Vans and turn them into full leisure vehicles, this means by the time they have worked their magic on a van, it will typically have had full body styling treatment, bed and kitchen cabinets in the back.

A few examples of the terms that we have been successful in securing for Vanworx are:

VW T5 For Sale - Position 3

T5 Transporter - Position 2

VW Transporter Conversion - Position 3

Surf Vans - Position 2

We are really encouraged by these positions and feel that we are only going to be improving these results over the coming months. With a new online store just around the corner - watch this space, this site is going to rocket!
