April 09 - New Vanworx Website

Vanworx were one of our first clients. Their requirements 12 months ago were to create a simple yet effective website which would showcase the vehicles that they had for sale. As a result of this brief, we created a simple 6 page website, that served it’s purpose - however, since the inital website design, the company has grown and they needed more from their website.

With an ever growing number of products and services available to the VW Transporter enthusiast through Vanworx, we needed to look at a completely new website which would cater for the new products and services. We worked on a new design which the client immediately took to, we then set about creating a working prototype - this was completed in Feb 09, and was set live shortly after. Initial feedback was good and the number of visitors that were finding the website through the search engines, increased continuously. As a result of this immediate success, we then continued to work on developing a full content management website. This was powered with Wordpress and was launched last week.

CMS

The new CMS is powered through Wordpress and utilises the easy to update back end system that has made the interface so popular with Blog users. The CMS has been set up in such a way that adding new vans and latest news is a breeze, and adding/adapting pages is also very easy.

The client has been fully trained on their new system, so that they can easily update their website, they agree that the Wordpress system is incredibly easy to use and is the perfect platform for their business.
